Optional Activities for Your Retreat
Learn how to assess flower for quality like a ganjier. Be guided through the various markers to look for when choosing flower. You will learn how to tell if flower has been grown to full maturity, dried and cured well, and stored optimally. Discover what the various smells, tastes, and appearance traits tell you about what your experience consuming the flower may be like. This experience is great for all people, no matter what your experience level with cannabis currently is, and each time we offer it, is different based on who is participating. You will have the opportunity to smell, touch and taste multiple varieties of flower to help you refine your assessment skills and determine what gives you the experience you are looking for. Led by owner of Sol Spirit Retreats and certified Ganjier, Judi Nelson. About 60 min.

Enjoy a short, mellow float down the Trinity River in inner tubes provided by Sol Spirit Retreats. Allow plenty of time to hang out at the beach before and after the float, or stop along the way to swim. We will give you the tubes and can help you arrange transportation so that you have a vehicle waiting at the end of the float. This float is only about 60 min, depending on river flows, plus about 45 min of driving round trip and any additional time you would like to spend swimming or at the beach. We recommend river shoes for this adventure, as it makes it much easier to navigate rocky beaches.

Experience a wonderful day on the river. You have many options for rafting and kayaking in our area. You can choose an adrenaline pumping whitewater trip or a mellow float on the Trinity River mainstem or the South Fork Trinity river (seasonal.) These trips are arranged and paid for through one of our local rafting companies, so please inquire at booking for availability.

Heading to the river or out on a hike? Reserve a bag lunch to take with you from the farm. Includes a sandwich or salad, fruit, chips, a canned beverage and dessert in an insulated bag with an ice pack. Please note that full day rafting and kayaking trips include lunch.
